The Anxiety-Free Child Program: Does It Do What It Says?

Millions of adults suffer from some form of anxiety problem around the world, and you probably know at least one person – maybe even yourself – that has an anxiety problem.  For adults, we can recognize anxiety for the most part and know when to talk to a doctor, therapist, spouse, or family member.  If these anxiety problems are serious enough, a doctor will probably put you on medication that will help to calm the anxiety that builds up inside you.  While adults can easily get help because they can understand what’s going on, the problem is that children have no clue what is happening and therefore cannot really explain that it’s simply anxiety and not something more serious.  So, it can be hard for a parent to see or understand when their child might be suffering from anxiety instead of something more serious.

There are so many different treatment options for adults, but it seems that many doctors haven’t got many good treatment options for children.  This is where specialty programs come in, such as The Anxiety-Free Child Program.  Once I saw this program, it instantly intrigued me.  Being someone that suffers from anxiety and seeing some of these same symptoms in my child, I was ready to try anything to help him steer clear of the anxiety path.  When I ordered the program, I was instantly impressed with the amount of materials that you get.  Of course, I hoped that this wasn’t just fluff and that it would actually help.  As I went through the program, I found a wealth of knowledge within, knowledge that unlocked several things in my brain and helped me to see where I had the chance to really help my child.  I was very impressed with this program overall, and here is my review to tell you exactly why this program is so impressive.

One of the very first things that I noticed when I started reading the Anxiety-Free Child Program is the fact that it’s readable.  And, I don’t mean the font is nice.  I mean that it’s really readable – you can tell that it was written by a real person that truly cares about the subject, not just someone that is recanting medical information you can find anywhere.  To me, this is a nice change.  To top it off, he’s pretty funny at times, making the program even easier to sit down and get into.  There are just way to many programs, manuals, guides, and books out there today that are just boring, dry medical information that is regurgitated to create something no one really wants to read.  The Anxiety-Free Child Program is not one of those things.  So, the program is starting off on the right foot.

The second thing I noticed is that there is a ton of great information packed into this program.  You can easily see just from the table of contents just how much you are really going to learn.  The program starts off with a basic understanding of the different anxiety disorders, such as what they are, what they do, and how they can affect both adults and children.  It then helps you develop a blueprint for success with your child – something to strive for.  Finally, it goes through so many different techniques and other treatments to help your child deal with anxiety of all types – both small and large.  And, if you feel that your child might still need a therapist after the program (or during), there is even a chapter that will help you choose the right one for your needs.  I was very impressed with all of the great information that is contained in this program especially once I started reading the different techniques and applying them to my child.

We have gone through every area of The Anxiety-Free Child Program and I have to admit that I have been very impressed with all of the information that is contained inside.  One of the things that we liked  the most is that there are so many different techniques you and your child can try.  So, if the first one doesn’t work, you can move on to another, and so on.  This made a huge difference to us, as it doesn’t tie you down to one specific technique and insist that you use it over and over until it works.  There are other programs out there like this, but The Anxiety-Free Child Program recognizes that not all children are alike therefore not all techniques will work on every child.  It even has techniques that parents can use to help their child succeed better with the program, with tips and advice that will help you make the most of the program as well.

Of course, the main question now is: does the program work?  So far, so good.  The different techniques that are in the program truly seem to be helping out and it’s been about two weeks now.  Believe it or not, but my child actually will sit down and listen to a few of the different relaxation techniques that came with the program and do them.  They really do seem to help calm him down, which is a nice change.  And, since there are several different techniques that your child can use in this program, your child won’t get bored either since they can switch up techniques for how they are feeling that day.

Would I recommend The Anxiety-Free Child Program?  I truly would.  It really seems that the value you actually get in this program far outweighs anything else that we have tried.  The information is genuine and original, the relaxation techniques really do seem to help more than anything else we’ve tried, and the program in general is excellently put together.  I have already told several friends and co-workers about how good we feel that this program is, and will continue to do so.
